꿈꾸는 삶/영어공부 (80) 썸네일형 리스트형 Holes Chapter 1~10 난 이미 홀스의 영문판, 번역판 책도 다 읽고 영화도 봤지만~ 같이 공부하는 친구들이랑 다시 읽기로 했다. 홀스는 또 읽어도 잼있음~~~~ 첨 읽을땐 내용 파악에 정신이 없었고...... 이번엔 두번째이니 여유롭게~ 줄거리도 적고, 기억할만한 단어나 숙어도 적어보기로 한다. Chapter 1 초록호수캠프는 호수가 아니다. 텍사스에서 가장 큰 호수였던적도 있지만, 물이 없은지 100년도 더 되었고, 지금은 황무지에 불과하다. 여름엔 엄청 덥고 나무 그늘아래는 그나마 낫지만, 나무라곤 두 그루 밖에 없다. 그나마도 왈든(관리소장)만 사용할 수 있는 해먹이 매달려 있다. 호수에는 방울뱀과 스콜피온이 있는데 구찮게만 하지 않으면 물지 않고, 물려도 대부분 죽지 않는다. 그래서 구덩이 파는걸 좀 쉬고 싶은 아이들.. Wonder - Part Five JUSTIN ※ 작가는 저스틴 단락에서 대문자를 하나도 쓰지 않았다. 나...할때 i 는 물론, 문장 첫글자도....그래서 뭔가 굉장히 문장이 어수선해 보인다. 내가 뉘앙스까지는 알아먹을 재간이 없지만, 딱 문장 써진거만 봐도 작가가 저스틴이라는 캐릭터를 어떻게 표현하고 싶은건지 대략 느낌이 왔다.
